# Creator program

If you have an audience, become a Velocity creator and earn from the traders you bring in.

## What you earn

Approved creators earn 1**0% of the trading fees** paid by every user they refer, settled in USDC. Final rates can be set during approval.

This is real revenue share on the Velocity fee, not points. It stacks on top of the 10% referral points you already earn as a normal user. See [Refer and earn](/velocity-docs/referrals/refer-and-earn.md).

## How to apply

1. Open the [Rewards hub](/velocity-docs/rewards/rewards-hub.md) and find **Become a Velocity creator**.
2. Click **Apply** and enter your name, X handle, optional Telegram handle, and a custom referral code (or generate a random one).
3. Submit. We review every application by hand to keep the program high signal. Most reviews take 1 to 3 days.

## Your affiliate dashboard

Once approved, your creator tools live at **velocitytrade.xyz/trade/affiliate**:

* Your referral code and creator identity.
* The traders you have referred and the volume they have generated.
* Your earnings and full claim history.

## Claiming your earnings

Creator earnings build up in USDC as your referred traders pay fees. Claim them from the **Affiliate dashboard**, where your claim history is listed too.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://velocity-1.gitbook.io/velocity-docs/referrals/creator-program.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
